You operate in a mixed environment and need to connect to different versions of Vault Server from the same client machine.
To be able to do this you will need to install the servers corresponding client applications alongside each other.
Examples
For example if you have 4 servers
- Vault 2010 (Server)
- Vault Workgroup 2010 (Server)
- Vault Collaboration 2010 (Server)
- Vault Manufacturing 2010 (Server)
On the client you will need to install four client applications to be able to access them.
- Vault 2010 (Client)
- Vault Workgroup 2010 (Client)
- Vault Collaboration 2010 (Client)
- Vault Manufacturing 2010 (Client)
You will only be able to log in to...
- Vault 2010 (Server) from the Vault 2010 (Client)
- Vault Workgroup 2010 (Server) from the Vault Workgroup 2010 (Client)
- Vault Collaboration 2010 (Server) from the Vault Collaboration 2010 (Client)
- Vault Manufacturing 2010 (Server) using the Vault Manufacturing 2010 (Client)
NOTE!! It is not possible to install different versions of the server software side by side on the same machine.
