Hello! Thank you for your post!
But with ESET Smart Security 4 Vault works fine!

I've just gone through this. ESET and Vault were working together fine. After an update everthing went south. You have to ensure everything to do with Autodesk products are listed under Exclusions & Excluded applications under Protocal filtering.

The business edition of NOD32 is Endpoint Antivirus. I have tested version 5.0.2126.0 (latest as of this writing) with database version 7602 (20121018), and it is still giving me slow downloads. My solution was to uninstall ESET Endpoint Antivirus on the *client* and install a different antivirus. I found WebRoot to be quite fast. They scored the highest in the October 2012 AV-Comparatives.org report. Using a different AV on the server didn't seem to make a difference in my situation.

Hi,
Vince you mentioned that "You have to ensure everything to do with Autodesk products are listed under Exclusions & Excluded applications under Protocal filtering." Would this be true for machines running AutoCAD that aren't using the Vault.
Thanks for the posts on this it was killing us!

Rick

The company I work for uses ESET antivirus and we recently installed the vault. After seeing and hearing everything about the problems ESET has been causing with the vault, our IT person opened a ticket with ESET to fix the issues. We got the newest version of ESET and configured it to exclued all autodesk products and extensions being used by the vault. Even with all of these fixes we are still experiencing problems with load times and corupting data.
